Launching JERA Nex bp

Today marks the official launch of JERA Nex bp, our 50:50 joint venture with bp, dedicated to owning, developing, and operating offshore wind assets.

With 13GW of potential capacity, including 1GW of operating assets and a strong development pipeline, JERA Nex bp is already one of the world’s largest offshore wind players.

JERA first entered the offshore wind market in 2019. Now, with JERA Nex bp, we’ve created a dedicated offshore wind vehicle to drive our ambitions in this critical area of the energy transition.

We’re proud of our team and extend our best wishes to our former colleagues who are joining this exciting venture. We’re confident they’ll play a key role in bringing JERA Nex bp’s vision to life.
